I read a while back here that someone mentioned a way to lock down their FLVs in their members areas, so they couldn't be stolen. Anyone remembers who, or does anyone know how to do it?

I've done it with mp4 videos. You're not getting my streams unless you screen record them.

DWB you know there is fast screen recording software available which lets you convert it to any format you want

I think most rippers will just go to the next paysite, I think it's too much hassle for them (but maybe I'm wrong) :)

I dought it .. If they want something they will rip it no matter what and its users who are doing it most of the time

I used to use adultaccess now on a tube site. This would let the user watch all the videos on the site but after a set amount time which you could specify it would lock the content up and the users would have to fill in a survey to continue watching the rest of the movie. For each survey they filled in you would get payment for it.

Well after a few months I found postings on forums with users saying things like " sombody needs to rip all the movies from my site"

All the content on the site was purchased btw and low and behold a few weeks later I found some of my purchased content with my site name still on them on another tube site.

My tube site which I am talking about also does not allow users to upload movies becuase they dont convert as I dont have ffmpeg installed and after deleting around 900 uploaded videos by users and sending out a mass email they still continue to try and upload ripped movies. Why ? I have no idea but they must get a kick out of it and waste a lot of there own time in the proccess.

These users dont care how they rip or where they rip content from but its not getting better its getting worse in the porn biz
