It doesn't matter who is in the fucking White House. If the government as a whole are not going to get serious about cutting military spending by 75%, and eliminating the endless waste it is not going to fucking change.
The government could literally cut military spending my 75% and invest a 'fraction' of that money into public works projects (i.e. jobs) over the next 10-20 years and get a better R.O.I. then we will EVER get in fucking wars.
Additionally, if the country/government would get serious about passing a Constitutional Amendment saying that if we are going to war, there must be a TAX that goes with it. It would absolutely eliminate us in 90% of the international policing.

People have to realize that the super wealthy control the country. That's just a fact and it's usually not a bad thing as long as the super wealthy are somewhat connected to the rest of the country.
Problem is, the super wealthy have become so detached from the real marketplace that everything they do to make money ends up damaging the country. Their actions are almost 100% contrary to benefiting the rest of the country these days.
For example, the super wealthy don't start companies anymore. Think about it, why start a company that takes up to 5 years to MAYBE turn a profit and requires you to work 12 hours a day when you can simply corner the food commodity or oil markets and make 20% on your money in a month or two?jim (at) amateursconvert . com Amateurs ConvertComment

Fact is the common guy on the street is worried and some guys are pulling their savings and not leaving much money in banks.
Guys who never used to think this way think the US economy is going to crash and dont want their money tied to Uncle Sam.
I was once given a United States 1$ Silver Certificate for my birthday as a kid. it was a 1934s. It entitles the bearer to one dollars worth of real silver.
It is worth about $3-5 today. 1934 was the last year the govt gauranteed their money was worth its value in silver.

Bush#1 runs the budget way up in two terms. Clinton lowers it to ZERO. He balances the fucking budget. Unheard of. Immediately Bush #2 totally buries us in his two terms.

This is the core problem. When Japan and then China captured the manufacturing sector from us in the late 80s through now it was only a matter of time. How long could we buy everything from China until we are all broke. Yes products are cheap. Many at 1980s prices. But cash is scarce. And credit comes with high interest.
