I love my server host (SecuredServers)
 

Someone posted in another thread that people always post complaints, but people generally don't post when they like something. And you know what, he's right. So I decided to start this thread because

I love SecuredServers.com :thumbsup

I come from a sysadmin / network admin background so I don't need managed servers. I've hosted dedicated servers at a lot of places, including The Planet, SwiftCo, FDCServers, Pair.com, ServerPronto, GSID and more. I've also had shared hosting at HostGator, AmeriNOC, and others. SecuredServers has been my absolute favorite host by far.

I've been with SecuredServers for over 7 months now. The network is rock solid, and they keep upgrading it. Each time I'm notified that I might have possible downtime of a couple of minutes but only once did I have a 5 minute downtime. Absolutely no power issues at all.

I filed a ticket when I was setting up the server and got a response within 6 minutes. Reverse DNS tickets take a little longer, 10-60 minutes, but that's fine with me since it's a low priority ticket for me.

I filed a "Server Down" ticket recently and received a response in 26 SECONDS explaining that there was a DDOS attack on the network and they were fixing it. The downtime was very minimal and it was the first time I had an issue. I consider that very very good for 7 months.

My account manager even gave me his direct cell phone number in case I had issues, but I haven't had to give him a call yet. The support staff is American and very friendly.

Prices are great, support is great, the network is great. For me and my needs I don't think I could find a better host :thumbsup

This is generally true, but a referral code can change that quickly.

A referral code changes what exactly? I was up front about the referral code, feel free to use the non-referral link. They really are the best host I've ever been with, and a ref code doesn't change that :thumbsup

a bump for securedservers, personally I use adult-hosting.com as Max is such a decent chap & gives a more personal service, mailing his clients every so often.

Question.... Why advertise hostgator is secured is your option? Be a more dedicated man.. one option is far better for sales :)

I host with pugmarks and never had any problems with them either

my coupon site has coupons for multiple hosting and domain companies. SecuredServers coupons coming soon too :thumbsup

I been hosting with them for a year now back when the price was as low as 48 dollars for a dedicated server dual core im still paying that 48 dollars with 10tb of bandwidth thats a good as deal.

Seriously, are you trying to suggest you get more sales on a dedicated server than a shared one?

I know you've said some pretty stupid things in the past, but this is a doozy!

Nice one to run a coupon site dedicated to sales. Personally, I would suggest getting those securedserver coupons fast, so you can seem more dedicated to the post... could bring more sales :thumbsup

Dedication to your sales & what you are selling, & NOT the server is obviously what I was posting about. Anyone to thought that anything else, obviously shows what an idiot they would have been, over the years :2 cents:

SecuredServers has done free 10TB upgrades and cheap 100TB add-ons, but they haven't had any "coupons" per se. They should have some very shortly though, and I'll probably be the first site with them :thumbsup
