Any one here practice yoga?

Make all the fun you want, if that's what you're gonna do. The people who practice know what's up. :thumbsup

yes i do but then again you have to define YOGA - there are so many types.. Hatha, Ashtanga, Bhakti...

billywatson 04-19-2011 10:18 PM

Good point.

I'm all about Hatha...but I haven't really ventured beyond.

Have you tried the Bikram (hot ) yoga?
The room is like 100 degrees+ and its so hot

but OH man can u get a good stretch in that heat!!

Agent 488 04-19-2011 10:21 PM

I used to teach Yoga...

Well, that is until a few students complained about some of my techniques:

I'm just finishing up a Yoga book which I think will revolutionize Yoga forever...

It's titled "Irish Yoga". It's catching on like Tai Chi - in fact, I would be surprised if you have not seen at least a few practitioners in the parks near where you live.

Here are a few pictures:

I practice Hot Yoga (Not Bikram) 3 times a week. Has been great for my overall health.

DWB 04-20-2011 04:12 AM

I do but not as much as I'd like. It's the most difficult form of exercise I've ever done.

Nothing will kick your ass harder than a yoga class in a room that feels like you're on the sun.

Swimming is the way to go ... the best for you! not yoga

I tried it once. Did not like the flavor even after adding fruit.

That type of exercise is not good. Yeah, you may be able to stretch a little more, but, so what? Its not giving any benefit to your body or mind. You're better off stretching in room temperature, I think.

CaptainHowdy 04-20-2011 07:45 AM

I practice practice ...

Or mind? I think that has to do with the instructor not the "type" of yoga. Not to mention with bikram you are guaranteed to burn a ridiculous amount of calories in 90 minutes.

Well, thanks to the hatha yoga exercises I've improved my swimming and diving skills a lot.
Swimming is great, I swim every day, but yoga is something different, it's not just exercises to keep the good physical shape :)

billywatson 04-20-2011 10:50 AM

Not only does yoga give me strength and flexibility, but I can focus better on things like shooting DP's, ATM's, and catching the best angles for gang bangs.

:winkwink:
