to choose ? Can you help me with that ?

those big names are almost impossible to sell when u just start into the business.
the best strategy is to go into the niche where ratios aren't that huge and it's still possible to get some traffic by trades and other approaches.

So you are not planning to promote a specific niche? In my opinion the best way to start from scratch would actually be to choose a niche you like, and promote sites in that niche...

Quite a few actually. Here's a list of free content and hosting sponsors, though that route depends upon your being already familiar with building webpages. If you're just starting out you may want to start off with blogging until you feel more proficient with html (most people starting out are not, so this is an assumption on my part).

Like daizzzy said, don't try to offer something for everybody but pick a niche that YOU like - something you would feel comfortable writing about every day, and go from there.
