(Domain newbs only) How to snatch an expiring domain name

This post is for domain newbs like myself. Here's a great "how to" article on snatching expiring domain names.

If you don't want to mess with the hassle of struggling to get a dropping name, try to find a diamond in a heap of domain coal at http://www.derelictdomains.com some good ones there--depending on your niche

wtf shitty site.,

Derelict Domains - a large number of results found

Over 100000 results were found for your terms. The search has been aborted.

Please hit back and add words to your search terms, or change options, to create a smaller list.

(Q: Why can't you just show me the results anyway? A: This limitation is partly for performance reasons, but
mainly because such a large list would be very difficult for a human to browse. Refining the search will result
in a far more targeted - and useful - list being generated.)

Sorry, no results for your search terms were found. Some tips to help improve your search:

1. Try using fewer words. Start small and simple, then progressively add words to refine the results.

2. Try using singular words. If you're using plural words such as apples, try apple instead.

3. Try using partial words. If you're searching for corporation, try corp instead.

4. One 3 character word. For performance reasons indexing is only done on words of 3 characters or more.
At least one word in your set of included words must be 3 or more characters long.

5. Use words, not a domain. Some people enter domain names as search terms, which will not work.

Please return to the previous page and resubmit your query.

I'm guessing a little here but I think I've figured out which searches you did... I think your zero results page may have been because you entered an "L" twice. There's 5027 domains if you fix that error.
