Does anyone else still have their Xmas tree up?
 

Or am I the only lazy ass? Maybe I should get some heart ornaments and have a Valentines Day tree...

It was hard to take it down though.. over the past month my cat had come to think of it as his new home. Whenever I would walk by he would dart out and attack my feet. Crazy cat...

My parents bought a full-size fake one at 70% off last week...

I had mime up until about a week ago....

Couldn't be fucked putting one up in the first place so don't have that problem...

I'm jewish, so I just complained a lot about having to take the Hannukah Bush out back.

In order to save me the time of taking the fuckin tree down I didn't put one up. The dog would just have destroyed it anyways

It's australia day this weekend, hang some dorky flags and jars of vegimite from it and invite your friends around to drink some fosters and bbq some prawns:1orglaugh

We've still got our tree up as well. Turning into a real fire hazard. To make matters worse, we never really decorated it. Its got 4 candy canes, a star, and a bit of garland. Pathetic looking really.

LAMike lol... Well I have three trees and they're fake. I actually can't 'find the boxes for my Christmas tree stands so I guess I'll be keeping them up for a while...

Netrodent well at least you started that's what counts. If you put just one ornament on per week, by next Xmas you'll be all set.

I have a little 3 foot fiber optic tree (techie all the way :D ) and it stays up all year.

DAMN girl... you may as well change the lites to all red and keep it up for Valentines day!

I gave Festivus a try this year and it worked a treat, it took me two seconds to pop the chrome pole back in the cupboard.:thumbsup

do what I do
every year for the past 5 years, I get a roaring fire started,
then I slowly feed the tree into the fireplace top first.

then again, every year for the past 5 years I've had to move into a new house and buy new stuff :(

The last place we lived in that had a fireplace, my amazonian housemate dragged our tree out in the back yard, chopped the boughs off, and stuck them in a basket next to the firewood bin in the den. We used the boughs as kindling -- it smelled good, and the occasional pop from the pine needles made the cats jump and freak out...warmth and entertainment!

I might as well still have it up .. now , where it sat, I have a shitty fucking up cardboard box filled with ornaments..

at least when it was up it looked as thought something had been acheived :winkwink:
