LIVE Sun Devil Angels shoot..???

I was wondering if I were to do a live broadcast of one of my Sun Devil Angels shoots, just how well it would do?

I am open to comments and feedback.

I've thought about that as well. I've never done a paid show but a friend of mine did. He says he promoted it really well and like 2 people paid for it. I think it might be cool as something different to do twice a year or so, as just something different to give to paid members. But as a money making endeavor, I don't think it'll fly. :2 cents: I would love to be proven wrong though.

After all, porn is free. Haven't you heard?

Yeah seems no one is interested these days

Consumers I know often tell me they'd like to see this, but most folks I know who have tried it had the same experience of finding few paid for it. Maybe a plus for existing members on a site?

I think the guy at Matt's Models tried that...right before the site died.

We have done open shoots for free (not via webcast) and done very well with the promo. I think that you have to look at the bigger picture now and it's not really about the money for the event but the revenue generated over the coming months after. If you look at cinema, TV and the music business they always look at the bigger picture.

I have shot 2 days a week 2-3 live shows a day a for about 5 months and I currently work on a few of my friends live shows. I have about 14 month experience working on live shows.

I cant give specifics on what shows i did and who i currently help with their shows, but there is a lot to know and you can loose a lot of money really fast. There are only a few formulas that work and even those don't rake in the money.

You are riding the line of making a good show versus shooting good content. The harder you work on the quality of your content, the lamer your live show will be. The better your show is the lamer your quality of content will be.

Live shows need fan and model interaction to do well. And to shoot a good scene, you need to not fuck the mood and vibe up between your models with stupid fan requests and dumb questions. Trust me, fans say and request some stupid ass shit.

In short; if you do a show for the fans, you will not recover you money that got put out for the shoot.

My very best advice schedule one shoot a week where you stream to your site a live shoot and have the Q and A during makeup and 10 min. before your shoot. Shoot as you normally would without interrupting the scene. The key is having a good moderator and a good camera "B". It might help out on member retention, but it will not increase sales.

Sorry about not giving names and specifics, but I Hope that kinda answers a few questions.:thumbsup

Great advice. Shoot a scene for yourself properly, then get the models to fuck or play with themselves for fun and shoot video of it.

Great advice. Also think of it as a bonus to members, not an upsell. Members are no longer sponges of money to be squeezed dry they are too bright for that. Give them a live scene instead of an update a few times a month.

Also think wider, will it sell to other sites. Is there money in doing live "pretend" shoots that fit's the viewers fantasies more than a real shoot. Then selling it as a live plug in to other sites.

Thinking outside the box as usual.
