* Other documents may be required by our customer support representatives.
** Please note that your account remains active and can be used in full.
*** Your prompt attention to this request is appreciated and necessary to ensure full compliance with our Terms of Service.

Please be advised that we have never requested Expiration date before, but in order to maintain accurate records, and to avoid any confusion over submitted documents, we do need this information from you.

Most picture ID's have an expiration date. Like Passport, Drivers License, etc. They all show an expiration date. That is all that we are asking for with this request. I hope that clears it up for you Agent488 :thumbsup

moeloubani 04-15-2011 10:26 AM

the expiry date is on the id

Agent 488 04-15-2011 10:26 AM

seeandsee 04-15-2011 10:26 AM

Please resend my DNA kit, and urine sample cup. I still haven't received it. Btw, when my DL expires, do I become a different person? Thanks!

Sly 04-15-2011 10:31 AM

Mine is telling me that I need Proof of Identity again. I need to upload all documents again?

Do you have problems using your paxum card yesterday/today?

Sly 04-15-2011 10:34 AM

It's also telling me that you need an expiration date for my corp papers. Do corp papers have an expiration date?

Serge Litehead 04-15-2011 10:38 AM

Ruth, seems like you're requiring expiry date for my other docs. Other than ID (drivers license), I've sent proof of address i think. These docs such as bank statement and corp registration don't have any expiration dates, so after i hit submit with driver license expiry I get this error for the other two documents listed:
> Errors :
> The Expires Date field can not be empty. Please insert a value for this field.

Do I have to put zeros in for these docs in order to be able to submit DL's expiration?

Agent 488 04-15-2011 10:40 AM

Thank god it's friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

babymaker 04-15-2011 10:51 AM

Everyday there is a thread about this wtf lol :D

NaughtyRob 04-15-2011 10:56 AM

I take that back, I didnt need to send it my new ID again... but for some reason your system made me put the date in twice for my new ID and it also made me put in the date for my old ID. Wierd.

Yes it is Moe. Unfortunately due to the fact that we have thousands of clients we simply don't have the manpower to individually go through each account and view the expiration date and note it. It is a LOT faster to simply ask our clients to insert the information. We do appreciate your assistance :)

The Expiration Date request is only asking for the date. We do not need a new upload of the ID for the expiration date, we simply need the information to be typed into the appropriate section of your account. Sorry for the confusion.

I would certainly hope you wouldn't become a new person! With KYC we need all documents to be valid. Providing us with the expiration date for your document(s) simply enables us to be more efficient with compliance.

Proof of identity would be your picture ID. It's possible the original upload wasn't in color or was grainy, or uploaded to the wrong section. Please reupload if you can, or if you don't believe this should apply to you, please contact support by opening a ticket or emailing them ([email protected]) and ask them if you need to complete the reupload.

I'm looking into this right now since most corp documents don't have an expiration date. We will adjust accordingly within account admin, please bear with us.

As stated above, I'm looking into this and we will adjust accordingly. For now, please go ahead and insert 0's for those documents that simply don't have an expiration date.

Can't Paxum look at the IDs and see the date and enter it in?

Edit: I see you answered this above, must have been typing at the same time.

Yeah, the numbers are just too many for us to be able to individually check each ID. If we could, we would, but thankfully we have excellent customers who are willing to work with us :)

NaughtyRob 04-15-2011 11:09 AM

This makes sense, but why can't they put it in when we put in our new ID's? Just a thought for the future. Surely thousands don't sign up or update new ID's at the same time.

Just so you know, zeros didn't work

We need the expiration dates in order to know when to request new ID's to be uploaded based on expiry. All new accounts will be required to provide this information upon sign-up, so moving forward we won't need to do a mass request for this again.

Hmm.. I'm sorry that didn't work, I figured that it would. This is being investigated now though, so if possible, please wait to complete this update and I'm sure it will be changed over shortly. I will update this thread once it has been fixed. Thanks for your patience :)

Why? Is a persons identity going to suddenly change once their documents expire? If you've "validated" that a person is who they say they are with the original documents, what possible good reason is there for you to have an updated copy?

For the same reason that you can't open an account with expired ID. In keeping with KYC we must have valid documents for all our clients. We must abide by the rules and regulations laid out to us by the banks and card issuer. We must comply with their rules, and to do so, we need our customers to provide valid documentation.

Good for almost as long as a google cookie!!! :thumbsup

RuthB 04-15-2011 02:03 PM

If you do NOT have an expiration date on your identification; ie: Drivers License in Europe, etc. then please insert TODAY'S DATE plus 10 YEARS.

ie: exp date - 04/15/2021

The request for expiration date on corporation documents has now been removed, so everyone should be able to update their accounts now.

:thumbsup

I keep getting that email (5 times in the past 3 days). I have already uploaded my DL and it was approved 2 days ago. Until this is cleared up on your end I wont be using your service.

We sincerely apologize for the additional emails that were sent. Our mailing software malfunctioned and sent the email more than once. We only meant to send the email once.

Please disregard those emails if you have received notification from support that your account is okay.

MediaGuy 04-15-2011 02:34 PM

Done, and thanks for the post; I come here more often than I drop by my Paxum account... actually because it's new, and I'm waiting for the card - I noticed my account is at negative 40-something because of the card fee.

Do you still send out the card or does it only go out after the account goes above zero??

:D

Thanks! The card is sent out regardless of your account balance. You don't need funds on your account in order to request the card and have it printed and shipped to you. :thumbsup

This is really starting to piss me off big time.

I only have ONE photo ID - my drivers license. Because I live outside US/Canada they say I need 2. I emailed support and the reply implied a copy of birth certificate is okay... I dutifully upload it and it's rejected.

Like many I use a PO Box for all business and PERSONAL mail. I am struggling to find a single utility bill or similar that has my street address - NOTHING gets sent to my home mail box.

done and when does my card comes to daddy?

icymelon 04-15-2011 04:22 PM

I remember when I setup my epass account it took about 6 weeks to get everything in order. A lot of good that did

suesheboy 04-15-2011 04:43 PM

I opened a bank account in 1989 and showed my ID to the bank officer at City Bank, years later it became Great Western, Washington Mutual, WAMU, and is now Chase.

They never asked me for my ID again.

Oh wait. That's a bank where my money is safe.

Never mind.

Customers? Don't you mean hostages.

Seems like if the hostages ("customers") have to do your work, they should get paid with a credit, doesn't it?

u-Bob 04-15-2011 05:18 PM

Drivers Licenses over here have no expiration date.
