what happen if my content provide did not send me the licence
hi, i have a question here.
I bought some content from a web site and get the content using FTP. Then they email me a form for me to print out and sign my name at the bottom of the paper. After that, i mail them back the paper i sign. It has been two month now, i got no licence from them. THey don't reply my email. What should I do? I already use the content i bought but now i don't have the licence. thanks for your help |
who's the provider?
I've had a similar problem lately. |
should i post the name here?
maybe they are legit just that i miss my mail. i don't know. any thought on what i should do? stop using the content? |

If they have a number give them a call. Email them proof of purchase and try to contact them other ways.
One question, when you mailed in the signed license did you mail in two signed copies with a S.A.S.E included? Im sure posting the providers name isnt going to hurt anything specially if it was oversite. You do have proof of purchase though so that part would not worry me, what would worry me is the lack of response and the tittle 18 concerns. |
Hello McFly.....
They emailed you a form...Most likely this IS the license. Print another copy for your records and call it a day. |

Seriously if you sign something always keep a copy of it, file it with the invoice/proof of purchase and then you should be in the clear. Hope it's not me, I know Eva nis not always the greatest at keeping up with returning the contracts. :( This is Paul again on Eva's computer. |

The do make meds for these things you know. We discussed this in Vegas.....Just in case you forgot. :1orglaugh |
The content license I am waiting for was supposed to be generated by a script which he says he was having a bit of trouble with.
The content was purchased on the 6th November 2002. So after waiting patiently for the last 2 1/2 months, numerous icq and email messages, he now doesn't even reply. The provider is ix-content and the most annoying point is that it is such a pissy amount of money involved. |
You dont have a problem there...
You have proof of ownership by paying for the content. And from what i have heard of them they are very ok, so unless they WANT to screw somone (which they wont im sure) everything is ok.... We to have had a few contracts that were VERY late, thats why everything is online now for us... Dont worry be happy :) |

|
the form they mail me is just stanard form.
I have to fill in the name of the picture set and sign at the bottom. they did not sign anythin yet. I don't think that is the proof of the ownership. Is it? thanks again |
