I can take some pictures of them on the way out, if you'd like...

Wienerschnitzel! Yummy!

Little known fact about me... One of my first jobs out of the Marines was working at Wienerschnitzel. I eventually became the manager, and good friends with the owners. I moved on to working at the phone company, and even though I was making like $80k a year at the phone company the store owner asked me to work part time during my split shift - for the lunch rush. Laugh all you want, but it was a blast working fast food, the owners were funny - they paid me in stuff they bought me on ebay! - and I got all of the free food I wanted, any time of the day.

I met my wife, Donna, while working at Wienerschnitzel. She came in as a customer, we flirted, and as she left I looked over to the owner and said "next time she comes in she'll give me her phone number". Five minutes later she marches back in and hands me her phone number, written on Star Trek stationary and eyeliner - which was all she had in her car at the time.

Some twenty years later I still have this phone number framed:

True story.

We do Wienerschnitzel at least once a month. Fucking love the chilli cheese dogs and always will.

dyna mo 04-13-2011 10:46 AM

Chosen 04-13-2011 10:59 AM
