I am close to the Hilton Hotel in Karon Beach in Phuket
I was on the streets with my water machine gun, squirting water over old ladies well dress up for dinner at night, the look on their faces, priceless

so hilarious... I think it happend to me what happend to Eric Cartman from South Park, is the most funny thing I ever done, everything is downhill from now :(

we bought water guns today, down here it's only one day (tomorrow). and we will stay here in Rawai, it's actually a pretty cool and relaxed place - not a tourist trap like Patong :glugglug

Supposed to cleanse you of your sins during the past year. Same with putting baby powder on everyone's faces. heh, I absolutely love Songkran, but always thought it was a bit hypocritical. What better way to start the new year than committing new sins while washing the old ones away? :)

We have a water balloon launcher that we take up to a rooftop and unleash holy hell on people. Fires those things a block away, drops from the sky like black death. They don't have any idea what hit them.

Then when we take to the streets, we only shoot at kids, cripples, Indians and the elderly. But this year, we will be adding Arabs to the hit list. Gonna mix up some chilies in the water and have another gun just for them.

I see it like you either hate Songkran or you hate it a lot.
I spend my time from 6am to 8am blowing up a 1000L (250 gallon) pool for the kids to play with.
I do not recall how many times I got dizzy for blowing to much but it were a lot.

This is my second Songkran and I still hate it.

ya this is my 4th and i just stay indoors until dark. that's my usual routine anyway so its no big deal. my wife takes the kid and goes to play with her friends. comes back happy and soaked. i happily do without having thousands of thai dudes playing 'nail the farang'.

Just had 2 awesome days in patong, i did look like a prune by the time it was over though!

If you want more of it, go to Pattaya. The last day is the 19th (which is insanity impossible to imagine). Right now there are battle pockets all over the city but the war doesn't start until the 18th and carries over to the 19th.

drunk Thais are just as bad as a farang - or worse because they have nothing to live for.

the beach towns are over-run with farangs, so you cant see the crazy Thais. they are hiding in the alley waiting to rob you when you fall off your bike at 2:30am after a bucket of water hits you in the face.

up in the northeast it is much easier to see that the farangs are the well-behaved group.

i'm on day 10 now and i haven't seen even the smallest hint of bar brawls, accidents or anything the like. not even at Songkran. but i accidentally stepped on a gekko and ran over a frog with my scooter :-/

i got soaked today walking down the street. pretty annoying. but fun for them i guess
