Bank Secrecy ? Belize practices bank secrecy. The banks we refer clients to will not enforce civil judgments or comply with subpoenas from other countries. Any requests to share information regarding a criminal case would need to go through the Belize Government. Generally the Government would want to see a criminal case on file in the national courts requesting the information. Belize does not do fishing expeditions for other countries wishing to see who has a bank account there from their country.

I once forgot to take the money out of the atm with epassporte.
The procedure was that first I needed to wait for the end of the day to see if there was a difference in money given out by the ATM and money that should have been given out by the ATM.
The bank (ATM owner) told me the next dat this was not the case. Epassporte then asked me to send them a receipt.
I could not send them the receipt. I had forgotten the money and one does not take the receipt and forget the money right?
Some lucky person in line of the ATM took my money or epassporte did.
I was out 250 euro.

ContentPimp 04-12-2011 01:19 AM

What does that have to do with anything? ATM has a +19,000 balance, my statement has a -19,000 balance they didn't give me. Paxum reverses, ATM bank checks their accounting, they confirm, all is clear as pie. This is all electronic with a footprint.

I just wish someone from paxum can contact me asap!!!

No need to wait for any time zone unless you are wanting phone support.
Ticket support is 24/7

Paxum support is useless.

The owner of the ATM says to contact paxum and they should do a chargeback
Paxum says that the ATM owner should help me, so call them.

Well guess what Paxum, I called them yet AGAIN, and I was passed around to 3 different people at OTP Bank and they said YOU have to do a chargeback for 19,000 because their atm machine only gave me 1000!

So why won't any of you help me take care of this? Why are you sending me in circles paxum??

NickB. 04-12-2011 05:19 AM

paxum has some of the best support, email: [email protected]

matuloo 04-12-2011 05:24 AM

So bank tells you to contact paxum and paxum tells you to contact the bank? Do I get this right? :) This is retarded.

facialfreak 04-12-2011 05:28 AM

PAXUM's already got your money Dude!!

greg80 04-12-2011 05:32 AM

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Fat Panda 04-12-2011 05:34 AM

What do you expect from an offshore Belize pseudo bank?

I expect them to do a chargeback for 19,000 RSD as the OTP Bank suggested.

Chris 04-12-2011 06:40 AM

Tina ,
Sorry about the responce you got back from support - they might of not understood your question.

Generally when an ATM gives an amount that is less than what is requested it is due to the atm running out of money or the money getting jammed when dispensing your cash.

The ATM's bank will normally notice this at once they "settle" their transactions the 19,000RSD will be credited back to your card.

In the event that this ATM's bank does not work like this or for some reason it does not detect that the machine gave you less than what was requested you will be sent a charge back form by us and you will fill it out and we will process the charge back for you.

Hope that clears it up and if you want me to stay on top of this for you and keep you updated shoot me an email - [email protected] with your email ID.

Chris

ContentPimp 04-12-2011 06:45 AM

Thanks Chris, sending you now an email.

Chris 04-12-2011 06:48 AM

Also as for support hours - we have 24/7 ticket response. They can help with basic request or issues you are having but with a larger issue such as an atm machine not giving out the correct amount will have to escalated to management that is not staffed 24/7.

Agreed!

People should call things for what they are, not overstating ones cause. Ultra urget would be something which is on fire, or being destroyed by the minute as we speak, now that's "ultra urgent". A person going through the ice on a lake is also ultra urgent.

Right should of course be right, but this is far too unimportant and allows for plenty of time to both investigate and correct, so it's not even remotely urgent.

Perhaps we could call it 'Epic' instead?
