Japan Rattled by Aftershock, Tsunami Warning Issued
TOKYO -- Japan has been rattled by another aftershock, and a warning has been issued for a 3-foot tsunami.
Meanwhile, officials want more people to evacuate the area around a crippled nuclear plant. It's been spewing radiation ever since the tsunami and earthquake a month ago. People living within 12 miles were told to leave because of concerns about radiation in the air. Residents of five communities, some more than 20 miles from the plant, are being urged to leave within a month. http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/b...Warning-Issued |
Based on past big Japanese earthquakes, expect aftershocks for quite some time.

It was a 6.6 from what I read. They'll be quite active for the next year. The only real danger would be in further tsunamis. Now that's a country that is really having seemingly everything go wrong. I read those power plants will take more than a decade to decommission...
