Google adwords just got tougher
 

Position preference was a great way to get extra branding even if your ad didn't get clicked. Now Google has changed Adwords so the old tricks no longer work.

Adwords has been a cunt forever, you're further off playing wit a bunch of second tier networks. They're only going to hurt themselves.

True. G lifted the business model off GOTO/Overture and this fueled big G's rise. The publisher is key.

You can set up automated rules for your ads, which will give you more control.
