MixPhoto And No 2257 Info

I have been thinking about this and just have to say something.
It looks like Mix Photo does not carry or even cares to carry 2257 on its content.

You need to see the postings the owner has made on another board.

Im not here to promote another board but any of you that have bought content from Mix Photo really need to see the owners postings here on this spam board.

I hope none of you have!

Do they do sexual content, or just nudes? Some interpretations suggest that no sex means no 2257, though most of us err on the side of caution.

Well it has always been our practice..and the practice of all the Legal content providers i know of to have this info along with the title 18 info posted somewhere for their customers.

Proof of age and keeper of the records info IS the law.
It seems by the postings of this provider that they don't have them and do not plan on having them.

This puts ANYBODY who bought content from them at great risk.
To me its a pure lack of concern for anything just to make a buck!

But thats just my opinion.

Am I right that you are spreading rumours about your competition? Isn't that a little... um... shady?

But go take a look
http://www.adultheadsup.com

I am sure discriminating customers will notice a little thing like a lack of 2257 info and decide for themselves.

roscoe 01-21-2003 08:53 PM

So your saying its ok to put the customers at risk?

That they have to be the ones to catch any problem likt this or to bad for them?

Or am i missundersatnding your last comment?

gothweb 01-21-2003 08:55 PM

I'm not really saying anything. It just struck me as an odd form of advertising and all. But I may just be in a pissy mood, so don't take it from me.

I think not having the 2257 info is pretty shaky territory. I just thought I smelled pork product.

Pixmaster, we'll never get the herd thinned this way...

roscoe 01-21-2003 09:03 PM

Ok maybe im not up on some terms here..

The Owner posted the posts he made...I really think he just doen't understand our laws..

Im just trying to warn anybody who bought content from him.
As far as pork goes..i had ribs for dinner yesterday..did i not wash good enuff?

roscoe 01-21-2003 09:11 PM

Pixmasters is not trying to thin any herd.. Pixmasters is trying to keep the content buyers informed.

It never fails that when there is somebody out here with the balss to bring something to lite to protect others. There are those who think they have altierier motives..

One way to keep our businees clean and safe for all is to report when problems like this happen.

I could keep my mouth shut and let everybody and anybody buy this content. When they get busted and have to pull it or even face charges..I would get asked "why didn't you tell us"..so either way people will think we have other reasons for our actions.
I would rather NOT see people going to jail or having to loose tons of work or sites...
