He is trying to open a club here in Lincoln, NE but because of his association with my website the city won't allow him to open and are doing everything in there power to prove it. That's the thing he does own part of it and since having a nude website is NOT against the law in Nebraska there is no reason for him to sell it. The 2 companies have nothing to do with each other, it's just there way to make him look bad. If he sold he would be showing everyone that there was something wrong with what he was doing when it fact there is not. Someone has to fight them but I am glad it's him this time and not me...

This is our home, all of our family and friends live here. He has a kid that goes to school here and so on it's not that easy to just pack up. Also one should not have to leave their home because they are a little different. That's what's wrong with people today everyone has lost there fight. I mean back when I was getting in all my trouble everyone said just move hardly anyone said fight because it's the right thing to do. I mean I was getting naked but he just wants to open a bar. G scrapes around (hypocritical no? considering the Farmer/Panda beatdown, I mean, update :1orglaugh) for other news sources and if they place you enough times, you're in their news database. I'm assuming this is more of a marathon than a sprint unless you're already a well known regional offline brand that got on the web fairly recently.

There's a reason why I get news rewrite jobs. I suppose one key factor for the process above is you have to be consistent regarding news rewrites for your site and do it for a few quarters until you get picked up, if ever. Most clients who order rewrites have a focused niche audience and aren't really shooting for G syndication.

Talk about guts. You're lucky I was not an affiliate of yours because if I were and you did this to me I'd be on the phone to the police and the media over there in Lincoln, NE in order to make sure they knew about what you are doing to your affiliates.

Do the right thing.

1. Either keep paying for rebills or pay up front 2-3 months worth for each rebill outstanding.
2. Payout all monies previously owed including those below the payout limit.

Or don't be surprised if someone gets pissed and karma bites you in the ass in some way.

I agree... the right thing to do would be to pay out everyone, even the ones under the minimum... and I love your idea of paying the rebills for 2 months (because that is the average retention)... I don't think prepaying them is the answer, because you don't know who is going to rebill for those 2 months, but at least say "Hey I am closing down shop, I will pay everyone who is owed money over the course of the next 3 or 4 pay periods" It's a lot of accounting to do when people are under the minimum so giving a 3 or 4 pay periods time frame to go through everyone is fair... and then pay the the rebills for 2 months... :glugglug

I have always liked Melissa... I think she is a totally cool chick, and I think (hope) she will think about this and arrange some sort of plan to help those who helped her... because you don't want to burn your bridges... you take care of the people here and they will always come back and take care of you when you need it... everyone always comes back... LOL so it's not a good bridge to burn... IMO...
