PPS or rev share?
 

I cant decide if I should be posting links that are pay per sale or revshare so I have a mix. Which one makes more money??:helpme

Obviously PPS makes the most beacause revshare is usually 50% of a sale you make.

Revshare is quite good if they keep rebilling, a site with good content updates will keep them interested so choose a good sponsor :).

PPS is the most popular these days though, can't really beat those $1 trials :thumbsup

Depends on the program you're promoting. When promoting cams I always take revs over pps. I'm not sure if you have any statistics to look at and compare, but when I go back 3 years and add up the money I would of made pps vs revs, revs dominates. Even with the awesome bonuses offered by companies for pps, revs is still the clear winner.

The thing is with people just starting to use these affiliates is they just start with the PPS because you get more $$ for a single sale, but how will people know how good revshare can be if they don't try it out. I do prefer revshare btw :)

depends on program you promote, but I take PPS on most

i always start on revs and give the program few months, i mostly keep it on revs, but with some programs i would never touch revs anymore :)

That is a good way to do it. Try both at first and see. Although most programs should probably be PPS only these days. Too much bullshit going on to trust them with revshare.

I have always worked on revshare as i believed on long term, but with current situation, sponsors closing all the time etc, i'm with Ray, PPS, max short term income and reinvest it to make more.

Not much in it, big wait for a little extra long term.

Mostly depends on the sites:
Some are very difficult to convert, but retain extremely well. -> revshare
Others are easy to convert but don't retain at all. -> PPS

btw: I sometimes mix it up based on the traffic: some countries or even cities retain better than others....
