Southwest Airlines did not immediately return CNN's calls for comment.(CNN) -- A Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to Sacramento, California, declared an in-flight emergency Friday and diverted to Yuma, Arizona, due to rapid decompression in the cabin, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
"We do not know the cause of the decompression," said Ian Gregor of the FAA.
Flight 812 landed safely at Yuma Marine Corps Air Station/International Airport at 7:07 p.m. ET.
The FAA did not have any immediate information on any possible injuries aboard the aircraft.

Southwest Airlines announced Saturday that it is grounding 81 planes for inspection following an incident in which one of its flights was forced to make an emergency landing after a 3-foot hole tore open in the fuselage of the plane.
