The site mostly outed cheaters in your town.
You could post a pic of someone and say bad things about them.

Most were like, this girl slept with the entire town, and so on.
Or this guy thinks he can get any girl he wants..

I have never seen ICE not just have the URL pointed to their own DNS and use an image hosted on the url /cdn that they have taken over.

I agree with you on these facts, but this could possibly be one of the DUMBEST april fools jokes every. Not having people come to your site that lives off of ads. Thats pretty wild.

That is still a hosted web page, he has a lot of people coming to it because of the viral buzz eg: this thread.

As far as losing money for ads, this ploy would actually allows him to charge more in the future based on these stats.

That's not the real logo that they use, the logo has a big red border around it.

Also the nameservers haven't been updated, and the content is still being served by the CDN.

I call April Fools joke.

Not to mention that image is in a wp uploads folder.

I would think just as many people come, there are people that wont come back.

Makes sense. Sacrifice 1 days worth of standard traffic in hopes of creating viral buzz and a lot more people returning the next day to see if it really was an April Fools joke.
