host wants $10/mo extra for fantastico and charges $20 to install wordpress

If you're paying for Fantastico, why in the fuck would you have to pay another $20 to install Wordpress? Not like Wordpress is a difficult manual install anyways. Just a little wait for the upload and a minute to punch in some settings.

I'm sure you could have someone program you a simple Wordpress installer for a few bucks if you really had to. What's with the box in Singapore too? Why not go to a normal host somewhere? Or do you need offshore bulletproof hosting for whatever reason?

sorry was not clear, i asked them to put fantastico, they said $10 a month. I said can you just install the wordpress, they said 25sgd. fuckers.

Anyways, not a huge problem as this is the only wordpress install I will need with this host. Just for 300usd amonth you'd think they can do it free.

if its a unmanged host what do you expect them to do it for free ?

dont matter if you buy a $5000 unmanged server.

for free? why ? someone at that company has to waste time uploading it , and setting it up .. should only take him 5 minutes .. but still .. why dont you do it yourself ? it is so goddamn easy anyways
