This is a question to those of you that have used it. Did it help? Was it worth purchasing? Did it make updating easier? Just want some last minute advice before I go ahead and get it. Or if you know of something better, let me know.

i have tgpx server version,
its like linux , complete control oveer ur tgp, ucan do whatever u want. nd kind of complicated for me.

i love smart thumbs , the main function i like of this is it can autocrop the thumbs and add new galleries also automatic.

I looked into the smart thumbs previously, but the whole process was irritating me so I didn't complete it. But after reading your post, I checked it out again and logged in with the info they sent me. I'm going to give that a try and if that doesn't work, I'll go with the tgpx. I do like the idea of the autocrop feature, so if it works out, that would be good.

I have the server edition of this software, and have actually been using it in different ways. Sure, I still use it for TGP and link building b.s.. But I have also found other uses for content management, and integrating it into non-tgp sites.
