Al-Qaeda Joins Libyan Rebels

Al-Qaeda have now joined forces with the Libyan Rebels....
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...eda-links.html

The US military study of insurgents in Iraq that showed the highest per capita contributors of fighters to Al Queda were two of the cities in Libya that are currently under revolt....

It seems they also used the conflict to get hold of missiles....
AL-QAEDA'S offshoot in North Africa has snatched surface-to-air missiles from an arsenal in Libya during the civil strife there, Chad's President says

So it seems now that the Nato are providing a no-fly zone in order to protect Al-Qaeda.

They were already joined with them. They started the whole mess to begin with.. We're backing them now and always have been. Before and after 9/11. We invented them..

This is how it works. Problem, reaction, solution.. Create the problem, get a reaction, offer a solution. None of it ever works out for the people. Look at what's happening in Egypt. They protest for more freedoms so what does the new gov do? Banned protests.. Who are the targets now with all of the laws created by 9/11? The American people.

so according to you, u.s. created this, then did a study to determine that they created this?

Plausible deniability?

Somehow, Qaddafi valiantly fighting against Al Qaeda backed rebels smells ludicrous ...

The fact that one person is associated with Al Qaeda and also the "Rebels" in Libya may be possible but I wouldn't draw an overall conclusion based upon one report.

It's well known that bin Laden and the Al Qaeda organization was invented and supported by the Carter Administration to defeat the Soviet Army in Afghanistan — it was a success too, a success that returned as our enemy.

My enemy's enemy is my friend — don't expect this to change anytime soon ...

Another interesting article supporting the fact that Gadaffi is fighting Al-Qaeda and how the United States is supporting Al Qaeda in Libya....

That lasted a matter of days ...
Quote:

"[Immediately] prior to Jefferson's inauguration in 1801, Congress passed naval legislation that, among other things, provided for six frigates that 'shall be officered and manned as the President of the United States may direct.' . . . In the event of a declaration of war on the United States by the Barbary powers, these ships were to 'protect our commerce & chastise their insolence ? by sinking, burning or destroying their ships & Vessels wherever you shall find them.'"[14] On Jefferson's inauguration as president in 1801, Yusuf Karamanli, the Pasha (or Bashaw) of Tripoli, demanded $225,000 from the new administration. (In 1800, Federal revenues totaled a little over $10 million.) Putting his long-held beliefs into practice, Jefferson refused the demand. Consequently, in May 1801, the Pasha declared war on the U.S., not through any formal written documents but in the customary Barbary manner of cutting down the flagstaff in front of the U.S. Consulate. Algiers and Tunis did not follow their ally in Tripoli. ..."
