Non native English speaker words that may sound alike
If you are not a native English speaker what are the words you seem to mis interprete if they are spoken fast? Just thought of a couple, post yours :)

Thursday/Tuesday are often mixed up too. |
I live with 6 Thais, so loads... I'll constantly hear things like, "we're eating, come downstairs when you're lady".
"When I'm a lady? What??? Ohhh, when I'm ready". Or maybe, "two bottles of beer", and then hear, "ok, two bottoms of beer for you!". Can't fault them though, because I'm sure my Thai sounds even worst. :) |
