amerinoc server down for me :(

first two months i've been on there. wtf? don't web hosts have software that ping the active domains on their box? for fuck's sake. this was the same bullshit that made me switch in the first place.

p.s. i'd post a pic, but my server's down lol

johnny o 03-23-2011 09:36 PM

oh yeah, and since the email server is tied in to the same box, it's down as well.

CaptainHowdy 03-23-2011 09:37 PM

You're all by yourself, ahahahahahaha!

CYF 03-23-2011 09:40 PM

my amerinoc shared host is up. I don't host much on that one but it's been pretty stable.

awxm 03-23-2011 09:50 PM

candydreams is loading fine here.

johnny o 03-23-2011 09:52 PM

johnny o 03-23-2011 09:53 PM

they're working now for me too :) seriously though, doesn't a web host have software that knows when a domain is offline?

Kiopa_Matt 03-23-2011 10:00 PM

Did you contact Amerinoc? Or just rush to GFY, to let us all know your server is down?

Darkhorse 03-23-2011 10:07 PM

Some sites went down (a customer of mine) lost a few sites for around half an hour, im with them as well but didn't have any downtime depends what server had a problem I guess.

As mentioned though email them first, they are good with customer service and you would get an answer quicker then gfy....

johnny o 03-23-2011 10:25 PM

yeah, i had already emailed them first. i'm not THAT much of a douche to register a complaint here first.

If you were having the same issue with the last host you may want to look on your end what is causing this. If I had to guess I'd think you were just outgrowing whatever server/package you were on before.

redwhiteandblue 03-24-2011 03:36 AM

Amerinoc are top guys, never had any problems with them that didn't get taken care of professionally.

247mg 03-24-2011 05:42 AM

sites comign fine here for me in London

Brujah 03-24-2011 06:16 AM

I use pingdom.com, so it lets me know if my hosting is down. I didn't have any downtime this morning with Amerinoc. In the recent past when I did have an issue, I emailed them about it first. They replied to email saying they were already aware of the issue and working on it. Soon after, it was up.

Move to Naked Hosting / Certified Hosting and enjoy fully managed servers and fully loaded cPanel/WHM :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

johnny o 03-25-2011 08:35 PM

email is down again. nothing but issues with them so far. i know they came with raving reviews, simply sharing my experience.

johnny o 03-25-2011 08:38 PM

If you had problems at your old host and now Amerinoc then it's probably going to happen no matter which host you switch to. Sounds like a script or something on the server is causing it. Ask for Mike or Chris during the day so they can figure out the problem, both of them have helped me solve problems with scripts getting out of control.

Although if tech support means everything to you... I'm sure you can find a host with better support but you'll definitely pay quite a bit more for it, especially if you want the same server specs.

Brujah 03-25-2011 11:02 PM

What was the problem? Have you tried pingdom yet?

BJ 03-25-2011 11:08 PM

your site up from here. sure you dont have some shitty isp?

BJ 03-25-2011 11:10 PM

I ask about shitty isp, because where I live I use the local community isp for my house, I imagine they have like 50 customers. And, its terrible.

It's not his ISP. I contacted AmeriNoc about Johnny's issues and they said that his server was having some problems and they were trying to get them resolved. I've been with AmeriNoc for a few years now and have never had an issue that we couldn't get fixed right away. Not sure why Johnny continues to have issues but hoping that they get it taken care of soon. Hang in there Johnny - AmeriNoc is good people :thumbsup

Hey.
I can see ur site (now).
Use pingdom.com, and create a rule on your non-amerinoc-server-mail, like gmail, where when it receives an email pingdom warning automatically forward it to amerinoc support. :thumbsup
