Looks weak in a forum but I can imagine on a 20 inch monitor at night how the design would work. Bit sharper yellow maybe - just needs a spruce up - go with the style that works with your niche! Animated flash will do wonders - get them girls jigglin'

Another vote for the old design here. I realize you gotta push the whole "3d aspect here" but this logo and text there looks like it was made with Instant 3D Animated Gif Creator for Windows 98. Those blue buttons are horrible too, gives me flashback of photoshop v5. The eyecandy plugin for that had a filter to make buttons like that.Mechanical Bunny Media

Another issue with the text is the shadows (or lack thereof) and the fact you have a light source at the top left, but the rest of the text is shaded with as if a light source is coming from the bottom right.Mechanical Bunny Media

It's nice to see frontpage still being usedCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

You really really really REALLY need a professional designer. Both are hideous, but at least the old one could pass for the "amateur vibe". The new one screams: "OK, I've no money to hire a designer and this site could be gone tomorrow so trying my last effort".
Sorry to sound that harsh but that's the message you're SCREAMING, not even suggesting.
Not only you're transmitting this lack of trust to potential members, but ask yourself: as a webmaster, would you promote a site where his webmaster seems to not have a cent to invest?

Good, your answers make me understand that i have a lot to learn.
Sincerely i like the last full version more than the old one. Ok the blue buttons are ugly and remember websites made in flash of 10 years ago, but in the new one the content is more clear and readable. New colors are more bright and i think they welcoming surfers better. It looks more professional than the old one indeed.

Peace, it's kind of funny, you did this same thread back when I made you a new tour, and TONS of people said they liked the tour I did VS the tour you were running, and instead of making that tour LIVE you kept the old tour and had yet ANOTHER tour made.... that is getting pretty much ALL thumbs down.
Good luck on whatever you end up going with BUT, if you keep changing the tour every few months AND take out / put back your "logo" you're gonna have a tough time trying to brand that site.

The logo doesn't look all that horrible. It's the texture on the rendered text that makes it look like 90's amateur work. Change out the texture to mirrored or chrome, or even gold. Hell, play off the red and blue from the 3D glasses. Just lose the granite/stone/wood looking texture and maybe add a bevel.Skype: TriplexprintComment
