i found today, that on t-mobile (UK) all the porn sites are blocked.

but to unblock it you need to pvove your age by entering your credit card.

tthey do not charge though (it states).

i must point out i used a pre-pay phone. contacted phones may not block porn, on the basis you must be 18 to sign a contact. but that said many partents buy contracted phones for there kids.

T-Mobile USA doesn't block porn.

You also have to call them and prove your over 18 to remove the content lock if you purchase a mobile broadband/dongle from them....its not a new policy its exsisted for a long time.

Fucking adult filter came back on my phone after i had had it removed.

One way around it while it's taking forever to remove again seems to be using Opera but it doesn't half ruin images with their compression thing.

My back-up phone is T-Mobile payg and it's not blocked here.

i am on vodafone and i had to verify by calling them up and asking that all bars were lifted. same for calling abroad etc.
its a strange one because some of our advertisers actually target certain operators and having just checked, T-mobile is actually one of the most popular especially in Europe :-D
