Who know and want to share how plugs trade system work?

I need to add it as new feature in my script, but not 100% sure how to do that, so any help will be welcome.

Im kinda interested to know too what a trade script exactly does.

I figure it keeps track of incoming and outgoing links from your page and you will be able to manage wich links are being displayed on your site.

Perhaps even a functionality where you can check the 'trading' site if your links are being displayed?

I have been researching how this whole thing works myself. Let me share what I know then maybe people can correct me where necessary.

Here it goes.

Among the ways people can make money with porn sites is through "traffic-trading". Traffic-trading at its core is an agreement between two webmasters to trade traffic: for instance, you send me 100 clicks per day, and I will send you the same.

To facilitate this exchange of traffic, is done in a number of ways. However, I know of only two ways: First, through "plug submissions", and the other through "Trade Pulse" or something similar.

Plug Submisssions
I learned of plug submission through Dusty Smith's Adult Autopilot. It goes like this.
1. Two webmasters agree to exchange traffic, ie: You send me 100clicks/day and I send you back the same.
2. You would get content from your affiliate. Make it available through your website.
3. Login to the other webmaster's CMS, and "plug" your site. This plug includes at least the link back to that content on your site, a thumbnail, and description.
4. You are expected to this everyday.
5. The webmaster with whom you agreed to trade is expected to do the exact same thing for your website.
6. Dusty recommends "Smart Plugs" CMS.
7. If you agree to trade traffic with more than 1 webmaster, this can be time consuming so there is Plug Rush to fill this void.

Trade Pulse
Trade Pulse is the other method in which to trade traffic. I learned about this by reading articles in gfy and doing my own research. I now use Trade Pulse in http://www.prettybabetube.com.
1. Two webmasters agree to trade traffic.
2. Having trade pulse installed on both sides all they do is "fill in the blanks".
3. Trade Pulse takes care of the traffic trading.
4. If you trade with more than one webmaster, you have to enter information only once, no recurring "plug submissions". No need for Plug Rush.

My Analysis:
Maybe I'm reading Dusty Smith wrong, but imagine you've created the plugs in the other webmaster's website (both using Smart Plugs), that doesn't guarantee traffic back to your site because the surfers may be clicking on links to other webmasters other than yourself. There is no "forcing" going on. So maybe Dusty's description is just incomplete, that there really is "forcing" happening through Smart Plugs, but I didn't gather that from his text.

With Trade Pulse it's a no-brainer. It will force your users to go to your trading partners based on skim schemes and ratios. And this is only a traffic trading component, which means if you know what you're doing, you can graft this in myriad creative ways into any CMS or homemade script.

Conclusion:
That said, traffic trading makes perfect sense to me as far as "why". However, with Dusty's description, I'm left with questions. Trade Pulse, on the other hand, makes it easy and seems to answer the questions Adult Autopilot seems to gloss over. That is what I know about Traffic Trading.

Lastly, if anyone would like to trade traffic with me, I'm using Trade Pulse. Let's talk. Thanks.

Egon
