Email Management and Sending Software/Service

For mainstream projects.

What do you guys recommend?

if I want to manage the list 100% myself and do all my own mailings?

aweber.com seems to be the best for mainstream

Thanks Rick. Fris, looks pretty good.

Had someone else recommend icontact heard anything about them.

Right now this is a smaller list. Only a couple thousand. But growing daily.

getresponse and mailchimp are two other good ones, or just use phplist if you want to do the mailing yourself.

Eric test out Vertical Response .... I use it for the mainstream customers emails and stuff

The well known ones mentioned already all have some sort of trial to test it thats the best way to see what you prefer

Eric if its for P O W emails the one you sent hit the spam box the last mailing a day or so ago

MailChimp is nice for small lists.

Barefootsies 03-20-2011 05:43 PM

Mailing is dependent on a lot of things.

Small list, large list, what you are looking to mail and so forth. If it is a small list, going with some of those already mentioned is fine. If all clean, you can use an ESP which would be a good option. If you have a larger list, you may want a heavy duty solution.

Good luck.

mailchimp.com or sendgrid.com are great.
