I took these yesterday morning and last night. It was super bright and very pretty.

to tell you the God's honest truth, it looks like the moon. I think people were expecting it to blanket the sky and fill the air with the smell of cheese.

It was not much bigger than normal just a little brighter.

So nice, in my country there was rainy night so i saw nothing :(

Los Angeles was covered in clouds :(

The moon can appear a different color because it is behind some clouds. This moon is somehow yellow/brown. The moon I saw looked bright white/blue.

We had cloud cover and didn't catch it. Oh well.

wow, I love the pure black around it, very dramatic

It was a clear night here. The moon was a bit brighter than usual (30%?).

I'm still pissed that I missed the last lunar eclipse

I was leaving a party at 6 am and the moon looked amazing sitting low in the sky. Was much brighter then normal.

It was rather dissapointing:2 cents:

It's a Dutch news site with user submitted pics. Some awesome pics in there.

It was only big when it was just about the horizon and I think I read somewhere that in the US it wasn't very visible at that time.

I noticed it was a lot brighter when I was trying to freaking sleep!

It was only a 1000km closer than before. You wouldn't notice the increase in light. However, it was exceptionaly clear is some places :)

It didn't really look that big. I've seen bigger moons.

what? everyone didn't notice the extra 1% in size from last month??? haha

a lot of hype and no show, that's the status quo for every news room and site these days.
