Last thing i would do is buy that from EBAY!
ya.. no guarantee.. For example: Oh my god! radiation has come.. Hurry get in the suit. then you see theres a hole in the mouthpiece.. FUCKIN EBAY.. as your getting the radiation in you go for a negative feedback. |
Or could simply start selling suicide pills...

US is deploying radiation censors on the West Coast:

Radiation suits? I have heard that those potassium iodide pills sell for the same price...

it's a catch-22 for the doomsdayers with this. on the one hand, it's the end of the world, they told us so. on the other hand, for them to buy one of these means they admit there is hope.
they've painted themselves into a corner! lolz |
Very Stylish and in the SABOOM colour scheme as well, :1orglaugh

I don't think I would get them from eBay, but probably not a bad thing to own if you live near a nuclear facility. Just in case.
It never hurts to be prepared for the worst. It just may save your life someday. |

They said on TV (CNN I think) that Chernobyl fallout went around the world several times and people were exposed to the equivalent of one-tenth of a chest x-ray.
All of this guns, gold and radiation preparation talk is coming from crazy Tea Party types. |
This radiation suit is interesting. Someone replied saying that it's not thick enough. Perhaps that's a good point. A bunker with thick walls of metal or concrete offers the best kind of protection against radiation. This is where observers would hide, for example, during testing of nuclear weapons. Gas masks can be used against poisonous gasses.

Have an evacuation plan in place and the needed supplies. A "bug out" bag. Anything is possible. :2 cents: Quote:
I have no idea where you live, but think about what your situation would be if RIGHT NOW your area suffered from a huge natural disaster or terrorist attack. You've lost ALL power and it may be weeks before it's turned back on. How long could you survive once you're out of the food and water that is currently in your house? What if people came to your house to steal that food? What if one of your family members was sick and you were unable to drive out of your area? Without looking on Google, do you know how long you can survive without water or how to filter collected water? Do you know how to treat diarrhea if you couldn't run to Walmart to buy medicine? Nothing wrong or crazy about trying to be prepared for something like that. :2 cents: |
that first suit, is about 1700$ from the manufactuer, so price is about right
|
i sale cheep radioactive suits.
|
This is a joke? Why do you need such costumes? Earth is still a good planet to live. If radiations will be above the limit we will move to another planet, and we can take our tld's with us also :)))) To make proper SEO from the Moon for example.

Living rather close to Chernobyl exclusion zone and to the areas that suffered from the disaster, they've always suggested us using iodized salt and including products rich in iodine in our diet without mentioning how it can harm your thyroid gland and how you should be careful with it. There is no 100% cure against radiation. And even though they always seem to claim that the health risks are minimal - with the same level of radiation for one it can be safe for another it is dangerous. With their "minimal" health risks the amount of cases of cancer and thyroid gland disfunction has increased dramatically here. Of course the government doesn't blame it on Chernobyl directly and even more, they're building another nuclear power plant here. It's all about business... |
I just read how in my country all geiger counters are sold.Crazy, since we are far far far away from Japan.

alot of interesting opinoins in this thread.
one thing nobody can duspute is things like what happend in Japan are a REALITY and until it hits your doorstep its just another story on the news ! preparing in advance might seem silly to alot but those are the same ones who perish and die or fight the crowds at the food lines and air drops when the shit hits the air conditioner... is buying a radiation suit a smart investment ..for the majority..no its not..but having a small stockpile of water, food, etc is something i bet every person on the coast of japan wish they had a few days ago. :2 cents: |
ive got a proper military one and gas mask, theyre mega sweaty theyve got some insane rubber internal lining

Spend a little more and get the best. If you have to buy a radiation suit, your money is pretty much going to be no good anyway.
|
I read that Japan asked the US for some radiation suits, and the US said there's nothing existing today that would protect against the kind of levels they're facing at the reactors.
