.cc malware on WP Blogs. Plugin available to protect? Fris?
 

host a bunch of mainstream stuff at NakedHosting/Certified Hosting. Getting a lot of Malware injections into my WP blogs. Mainly a bunch of .cc related crap. Are there any safe WP plugins to get rid of that stuff. Had to go through and reinstall 3.1 on those blogs including some adult ones. PITA... fris?

is it shared hosting?

could be someones account got comprimised and they are using it to access other peoples shared sites on the same server if they have permissions that arent set correctly.

would need to know the whole situation.

you should lock down wp-admin dir to only your ip for starters.

I dunno.. we run php through fcgid with suexec enabled and haven't had any issues with malware injection and the like. Mod security is good if you have access to installing stuff; but I'd recommend educating yourself on how mod_security works else you could find yourself with more problems than not

yeah its shared hosting on nakedhosting. i don't have 3.1 updated on the WP Sites so partially my bad but emailed their hosting and got no response other than its easy to reinstall WP. lol. will see
