Money Gurus.. Settle this
 

So this good friend of mine who is a middle class person.. Earning an avg of 150k.. he's using t-rowe, right, and most of his money is in a 401k

Well. They let him pick this and that, like this. 10% aggressive, 90% medium aggression, etc.
Well, he says to me, he has to put the WHOLE THING into that.

I told him don't be 100% dollar based for chrissakes. At least put 90% into the above and 10% into foreign currencies and/or investments

He says, no, I can't. I have to put 100% of my portfolio into the level of aggression thing

Well I told him that's ridiculous

Put 80% of your 401K into the thing that lets you be this percent aggressive and that percent this or that or another thing. Then you can pick a percentage of THAT to be aggressive or not aggressive

He says he can't

I say he can

I'm drunk but I think SOMEONE must understand what I am saying
Please help me with this because hes' a good friend of mine, here
