I think mine is. Compared to all my friends who get up in the morning to go to work, and go home beat at 6pm, never have any time for anything and all they do is fight with their spouses and kids, I think I have been blessed.

I set my own work hours, have no boss and don't answer to anyone.
My husband and I have been together for 14 years, love each other as much as the first day.
My son is an adorable boy who is smart, sweet and very well behaved.
I live in a paradise-like area with awesome beaches, great weather and a flight to Miami (where the rest of my family is) is just 1 hour.
My business is doing great, I have lots of great new projects for this year, and I'm training hard for my first karate tournament next month.

Yes, my life is special.

by the way, I was trying to add a note of positiveness here, to have you guys realize how special and great our lives are because we don't sit in a cubicle all day. I guess the general gloom-and-doom-glass-half-empty of GFYers overcame that :(

there's nothing negative/doom & gloom in recognizing we are all spun from the same cloth.

But yes I think being in this business overall is less stressful than other industries and thus keeps people happier. Doesn't hurt that we see naked people all day long, lol.

I feel special because every time bad stuff goes down, a life line seems to appear out of nowhere.

My life is awesome.

- I work from home, work my own hours, and don't really have a boss.
- Wife and I have been together for fourteen years, had one fight, July 2nd, 2006 (I won but she was right). She puts out for me nearly daily.
- My kid is a awesome, and she's the team captain two years running. The fact that her mother is on the sport league board helps.
- I live in a great area, no beaches, but perfect weather, no crime, no smog, no traffic.
- Business is still going good.
- I enjoy my little hobbies, my Mustang clubs, and my gaming clan.
- I also have a totally cool office that is my man cave.

My father died when I was nine months old (fighting communism!) and I never had a father, so it was important to me to be a huge part of my kid's life. So far it's been awesome.

I have a good life and can't complain especially when you see all the misery on the news.

good stuff man.. always wondered about couples/arguments.. so lets say u've had 100 fights with ur current gf, is there any chance of u guys being together forever? lol

My life is special because I add value to whatever I do. I try to live my life based on principles. Finally, my life is special because I realize that its not all about me. That there is a higher reality other than my pride, my fear, and my clinging to whatever I have accomplished.

my life is not special anymore at all. I have a boring daily routine with much and much work to do and less time for myself. I have no hobby,i lost them all in the past three years, no satisfaction for me at all , other than my work. In fact without my work i am a totaly loser and failed persone/

I'm very level headed. If I disagree with you, I'll tell you, but there is no need to yell. I'm a former Marine, Paris Island, lot of yelling; Yelling at me has no effect on me. I just had a rule with girlfriends that if fighting out of hand it wasn't going to work, and when girlfriends yelled at me or tried to fight I just walked away from the relationship. I don't have time for bullshit and drama.

Other couples can fight all the time. Different strokes for different folks.

No way would I hang around for 100. I'd be gone by number five. Here is a test, go on an extended road trip by car. Go for a couple weeks. See if you want to kill her or yourself.

Everyones life is special.

It makes sense that you talk about hours and time. Life must happen through a long period of time. The reason that time exists is so that everything does not happen all at the same time.

Real relationships need fights. It's a must.
