How do you define success?
 

More money than you can spend, happiness with warm contentment, a loving wife, lots of children, respect of your peers, a good education, world travel, good lifelong friends, no debt, doing God's work, or something else.:thumbsup

How do you know when you have really achieved your life's goals?

Wishing I was asleep as I post this. Haven't got there yet

+ good health and self-respect

Simple.... being able to do what you want with your time.

The ability to take time off to do whatever I want and resume as normal. For example, taking the day off to go out somewhere on a Tuesday, then working on Wednesday for the next 12 days, taking a day or two off, repeat.

Success as in what? life or business?

For my business I would say its a success when I have the money to do what I want when I want it and don't have to be concerned with the bill.

However, I think in life what you need to be successful is to be satisfied with what you have and the will to get out there and experience things. Satisfaction is the path to happiness.

I would say it this post sums up my measure of success.

Also, I would add "the ability to NOT work with assholes I don't want to work with."

Money is secondary to these points above. Money will give you the ability to tell the two girls sucking your toes to help out the six that are blowing you. Then you call two more toe-suckers to take their place. That's also success.

I still like mine best.

If your rich them your probably a slave to something. Or if you have lots of expensive things you are a slave to something.

If you like your work and have the time and money to do the other things you want then you win the game of life.

Success is achieving what you want to achieve. A person sets a goal. Success means using your own brain to achieve a goal. Perhaps someone else helped you, perhaps not. A good thing that happened to you without your effort is maybe not success. Certain images have been posted with scenes of nature: trees, flowers, ground, sky, clouds, leaves, water falls, animals, grass, fish and more. It is a success to see real nature with your own eyes instead of seeing nature on a painting.

Success means being able to eat good food for good health. Success means eating food through some time, because all food cannot be eaten at the same time. Food has to go through the digestion process. This information will take some time to digest.
