Fuck!

I dislocated my right middle finger... popped it back in, but it now hurts like hell and is all swollen up and stuff.

How did you possibly dislocate your right finger?

Middle finger. I accidentally slammed my hand against the wall, fingers first, and my middle finger got bent back a "little" too far.

stanton 01-20-2003 01:41 PM

I told you not to finger yourself with right middle finger! :NopeNope

I usually use the left one for that.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go the the DR.

Instead, get to the nearest computer and tell a bunch of computer nerds.

I just picked my nose and a booger was stuck to my finger. I rolled it up into a ball and flicked it towards the trash can in hopes it would go in. I didn't here that unmistakeable sound of a booger hitting the trashcan, so I assume I missed.

I think I'll go to the dr tomorrow. This is hardly an emergency.

Only annoying thing about it is that the last time something like this happened (playing ball, went to the dr immediately), that finger never really recovered. If this one goes the same route, I'll only have 7 fully functional fingers left.

Libertine 01-20-2003 02:54 PM

Hmm... it's starting to hurt even more now. This pretty much sucks.

Either my math is bad, or you only had 9 fingers to start with...

:(

One is pretty much crippled because the knuckle got kinda crushed.

Oh right, sweet.

Well not sweet, you know what I mean... :thumbsup

For some reason, I have a talent for breaking the smallest two toes on my left foot. I've never gone to the doctor for it either. Hubby looks at it, notes the diagonal bruise, swelling, and general ouchiness, pronounces it broke, and tapes it securely to the nearest un-broke neighbor toe. (It's okay, he can do this -- he's an X-ray tech, which obviously qualifies him for all kinds of home medical procedures and minor surgeries.)

I walk funny on it for a while, and it eventually heals...until the next time I trip over the cat and break it again...:helpme

Ehm... no?

stevo 01-20-2003 03:22 PM

yea, tape it to make it as straight as possible until you see the doctor... if its bent weird or if you cant move it, theres a good chance a tendon broke off or something... or you just popped it and it will stop swelling in a few days...

BV 01-20-2003 03:24 PM

soak it in a vagina

Libertine 01-20-2003 03:28 PM

I can move it and it's not bent weird or anything. Just hurts like hell :)
