 The Sinclair ZX81

When I was 6 years old (now 26), my father works in tech institute and made Spectrum ZX 64k for me from microscheme and diplomate (case). I play many games, used tape recorder for load it, programming (made easy lines or cirlces) and learned english.
So many sounds will play in my heart if I see LOAD "" |

The Sinclair ZX81 was small, black with only 1K of memory - that's sure little memory. It's like a calculator or something. The computer helped 30 years ago.

 I had a Sinclair ZX81 then moved up to a commodore 64...

I've had several different ZX Spectrum computers, built them by myself long time ago :)
	Sweet memories :thumbsup |

 HA!
I remember saving to buy the 16k memory upgrade (a fair sized box attached to unit) -- blistering fast performance after that, lol! For a while they made the ZX81 in Nashua, and whenever we would drive past the factory, a much younger me would think, "There's exciting 'future' stuff going on in there!" Good times, good times :thumbsup |

I had the Sinclair ZX 80. The 81 model was like the Cadillac of affordable computing. Basically you could program a checking account program or a laser light show.

That was my very first computer. Except I remember it being called the Timex Sinclair 1000 in the states.

I built a couple of those back in the day :)

I liked this machine. It wa a big challenge to write machine code for this 1K memory.

I wanted one of those, but ended up with an Atari 600XL as my first computer. Lucky me.
