im having great difficulty deciding if hes bonkers or all an act. .

it doesn't matter either way. even if this entire thing winds up being a joke. it is quite possibly the all time greatest celebrity hoax in histroy, making sheen that much more badass. charlie cannot lose. just WIN/WIN/WIN..

fucking media - you can't make out what they're saying, can't conclude he was rehearsing a rant. sounds like quiet talk before a broadcast.

Whether or not his rants are scripted for dramatic effect, one thing is certain: You have to be crazy to go head-to-head with your boss that signs the $1.8m weekly paycheck, knowing full well he's going to fire your ass.

An actor acting. Who would have guessed

He is a cracked out fame whore.... Who knew?

I watched snippets of it on CNN. Anderson Cooper was gravely discussing it with "Dr. Drew" And they both came to the conclusion that Sheen "needs help"

Well the one I saw last night...Sheen had glasses on. And you could see him reading it off of his monitor in the reflection of his glasses. lol

And I also remember the whole news media and Dr. Drew and Dr. Phil and every other "expert" saying that Joaquin Phoenix desperately "needed help" last year.

And that entire bizarre episode turned out to be him making a movie about pulling a hoax on the entire country. ("I'm Still Here" is the name of the movie) Just saw him a couple of weeks ago yukking it up with David Letterman about how he stayed in character for a solid year.

Sheen is definitely putting on a show. This ain't new. Andy Kaufmann did it first back in the 1970's.

I like Sheen's style. I like his intelligence. His ability to make money. His lifestyle. And his sense of humor.

And I hope at the end of this that it serves as a big "FUCK YOU" to the over moralistic religious judgemental pussy ass society we live in.

I said this ages ago that this was one big act

not saying you're wrong, but this "job" cost him 1.2 a week. big gamble to take on making a movie or hoax or something like that

Everyone is so sure that the rants cost him the job... what if the show was going to be cancelled or he wanted out of it, or who knows what behind the scenes? Maybe this was his exit strategy for something he knew was coming... it's not a secret that these days networks kill shows after a certain number of seasons because they don't want to pay outrageous salaries to the actors.

reminds me of what joaquin phoenix did, people were saying he was bat shit crazy and needed help. I think the shit going on between him and the creator of Two and a half men has been brewing for years

Charlie Sheen is an actor..thats what he does..he gets paid to act.

wether its from "two and a half men" ..or "twitter"...fact is he makes his money from acting...only difference is now the topic or medium for his "act" is his own personal life and playing on the assumptions made by millions about how he actually lives his personal life..

bascially hes a "reality tv show" without a TV network or Studio behind it.

how many big actors just disapear when there hit show ends?where is bill cosby and kids?where is the cast of married with children? or sopranos? ..yes some of them still act and have roles in tv shows and movies..but are they as popular as they used to be? No they are not.
