TopBucks sites down?
 

just checked some of their sites i get
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

eg. http://www.bangboat.com
http://www.asianparade.com
etc. (probably all)

how long has this been going on ?

I'm not seeing it, but I'm checking into it now with our guys ... thanks.

Completely bypassed them .. I noticed when I pulled up the post on my other computer.

I can tell you I check the sites many times per day, so I don't think it went on long.

Ticket put into SysAdmin, I'll keep you posted.

Can you tell me your user agent or IP address?

Glad it's so funny ... the IP address actually allowed us to see the issue.

The issue is due to the user agent having "download" in it and we block that. It affects .016% of our surfers. We are discussing the removal of it.

Both sites working for me.

From my SysAdmin on why this happened:

"OK, he's getting blocked because he has FireDownload installed in his firefox.
We have a block for any user agent that has "download" in it, case insensitive.
We block on average 150 per hour. Of those blocks, about half are due to "download" being in the user agent."
