Sony Hdr XR100, good enough to shoot porn?
We brought a new videographer on board and he has a Sony Hdr XR100, specs below. We haven't had time to do any testing yet, but will that camera be good enough to shoot?

IMHO, it's not the camera, it's the shooter that makes the most difference :2 cents:
If your guy is comfortable with that rig and you like his work, then go for it; you can always match it in post -- plugins are your friend -- or buy a shop camera and say "hey, use this if you want the job." I'm likely the only guy in adult using a Sony 1k (https://youtube.com/watch?v=5HmX6GlKCFo) It's my last tape-based camera, but used well, it kicks ass -- but it doesn't kick ass automatically, I have to push the right buttons and point it in the right direction... It's the shooter that matters :thumbsup |
