password trading
How much bandwidth to you think you burn through in a month as result of password trading??
|
Dude... it all depends on how many ppl get that..
If you get hacked and is only 10 ppl that actually get a hold of the passwords.. not much... but if u get listed on the big pswd lists... it could be hundreds of gigs... That is like when ppl ask: How much bandwidth am i gonna use this month??? who knows! :winkwink: |
Non , ass long ass you have good script in place to detect and block
|
good point, I will try and keep my questions a little less vauge in the future....
I am just trying to get an idea of how a big threat password trading is to this industry |
It varies a lot, from what I have seen. Some months are worse than others. I am guessing it is often a ton of traffic.

It is a big problem if you have no protection in place. Any decent protection should be able to disable access shortly after it is posted publicly. Boom, multiple access to same user/pass from different IPs/Counties in a short period of time. Account Terminated.
