Just curious since I never shoot at my own house (wifey won't allow it, and I don't like having strangers know where I live), are you able to deduct a % of your mortgage/lease/rent as a business expense?

yes of course... 75%. I live in a very small part of the house. the house is very secluded if you pick the right lens directions...

that doesn't mean if an audit is done, they won't change what you've claimed. i had mine reduced from 25% to 10 when i was audited. They wanted measurements, square footage, ect.

I have a bedroom, small sitting room, bathroom and share the kitchen.... the other 4+4, garage, living room are studio. I know it seems weird that I know what I'm doing. my concerns are really about getting the LLC setup... that's more of a tax audit red-flag than my studio... unfortunatly I need coorperate protection.
