Rock Star "Tiger Blood Drinkin" PROGRAMMER Wanted!

ARE YOU THE VERYT BEST WHEN IT COMES TO PROGRAMMING & WRITING CODE? TIRED OF CORPORATE BS? TIRED OF PUNCHING A CLOCK?

I am looking for a rock star programmer! Lets talk today!

People that really like the term ?WINNING!? please apply!

I am seeking a Senior Programmer who wants to earn a percentage of the profits and make huge money together. I own www.adultdatingdollars.com

Believe me, with the right programmer sitting by my side we can bank hard together. I would prefer you live in San Diego or LA since we work in my office a lot of the time, however a lot of work from home as well. We work 24/7. I have 6 live dating sites and a click through program rocking already. My weakness is back end PROGRAMMING! That?s where you come in. Also I have many projects that I haven?t been able to complete that we can pick through and see what one will be worth exploring.

I have a tremendous amount of base work already live & 10 years worth of experience, I will not list it all here, but what I do need is a programmer or programmers who are the very, very best, period.

I am looking for someone who is tired of working for some lame company with a bunch of corporate rules. We rock hard and take work very serious, but no lame bs corporate stuff. You are a partner in any project you work on, you?re a equal. You?re not on a clock. You make a percent of all profit we generate with all our resources for each individual project.

Now I know the best programmers make huge money already, but you will make more with me over time & have fun doing it! You will not make big money right out of the gate OK. The money we generate together as a team we split up after overhead expenses. I have a TON of things already built. A click through program, tracking, billing, great tours, you name it, it?s done, but I need more back end programming wizards to expand! We will use each of our resources and different knowledge to make a project happen. We will split each individual project 50/50. I am not looking for affiliates or marketers today; I am looking for a rock star programmer! Lets talk today!

#1 You must have previously built a dating program and have that template still available to use.
#2 Full knowledge of PHP, MySql, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (Must be proficient!)
#3 YUI and/or JQuery
#4 Ability to maintain a Linux server
#5 Experience in Process Flow Mapping
#6 Experience with CSS, AJAX, XML,JSON Javascript, jQuery
#7 Good communication skills
#8 The ability to multi-task, and adjust to ever changing requirements .

Send me your resume and some samples of your work and we can make it happen!

Good luck in your search.

Personally, I'd be wary of setting any kind of rev sharing arrangements when looking for programmers, unless you know them already. Or at least get a very good lawyer to write an exit cause for you.

Programmers who are not entrepreneurs will not like the "You will not make big money right out of the gate" part and the entrepreneurs are generally a) lazier than the other guys or b) have a successful business already if they are not lazy. So it's a bit of a slippery slope, even if they look great on paper.

Agreed on all points.

So you're looking for someone who has already built a dating CMS and you want them to give it to you, for basically no money/little pay up front?

I want to supply the click through, the tour, and the billing and have them build and populate the members area. Then we split it 50/50

Great! So you must be able to afford a quality developer then, instead of profit sharing.

Why is it many people have such a low perception of software developers, when all the while, we're the ones who make many of the cogs of your business turn? I want to start a business too. All I need is a store lease, some GCs, maybe an electrician & plumber, a franchise from Subway, an accountant, and a few employees. I'll just round everyone up, and let them know I'll pay later, once the money starts rolling in, because together we're going to bank hard!

Or if for some reason you have this absolutely amazing, out of this world business plan, feel free to send it to: [email protected]. If you don't have a business plan written up, don't e-mail.

Rock stars all seem to have one thing in common and that is they work for cold hard cash, not the hope that they will one day get paid if things work out.

I just finished telling someone the other day ... if you want to play with the big boys you have to pay the big boy salaries which at the very least start at 6 figures.

Anything less then trust me you don't have a real rock star.

Good Post. You got my attention :) I signed up to gfy.com after reading your post. I don't know if I have tiger blood ;) but I am a PHP LAMP programmer with 10 years experience. I am interested in your offer because I would like to grow with my projects and have my income grow as well. I am very adept to dating sites. My only concern is you mention your site adultdatingdollars.com would be the project and you are rocking already. I don't know about the financial end of dating sites as I have always been the technical side but when doing my research into your sites it seemed that your traffic was very low. I went to compete.com and alexa.com and looked up all your sites. It appears you average around 2 to 3 sales a day from me and my friend's estimates. Do you plan on hiring someone to market your sites?
I asked my friend about the money to be made with the traffic and he agreed that I should be weary of this project as he said he couldn't see you making more than $5k a month gross with your sites on adultdatingdollars.com. If you pay for these sales on a pay per sale model that doesn't' leave much room for profit without even computing in the expenses ;) I am sure I am wrong as you say you are rocking. Can you give me more information on the revenue I can expect? It sounds interesting since most people don't' pay programmers 50% profit of their whole company so if I am wrong with my estimations please correct me. Can you answer some questions for me?
1. I currently make $120k/year so you can understand my hesitation. How long do you think it would take me to double my current income?
2. At 3000~ visitors a month now how much traffic to you expect in 3 months from now?
3. Would you be able to cover my salary now and reduce profits later to cover initial salary?
4. What sort of investment money do you have to increase the business?
5. "Now I know the best programmers make huge money already". What do you consider huge money? I know great programmers and none make huge money in my mind. What could you consider huge? How would you compare 120k/year?
6. Can you provide history or experience of a successful project you were responsible for?
7. If I provided programming and development of the sites what duties would you perform?
8. How long have you owned adultdatingdollars.com?
9. What has been holding you back from promoting adultdatingdollars.com ?
Thanks for answering my questions :)

LAMPGenius 03-11-2011 02:29 PM

A few more questions...
1. What do you mean by populate members area?
2. What dating software are you currently using?
3. What do you think the value of your click thru and sites are?

just pay someone a salary like everyone else... deals like these are a myth, only happen in the movies and get rich quick blogs, you aren't going to find anyone experienced willing to jump on this offer off the street...:2 cents:

It kinda sounds like he can't afford a programmer and needs someone to take risk with him in order to grow his business.

jesse_adultdatingdollars,
I have done some more research on your business and it appears you are using Epoch.com as a credit card processor. what do you mean when you say you will provide the billing? It appears this is not owned by you and is provided by another company. Is this true?

I have a question. Do you have a business plan, with a clear path to profitability? If you want to attract true talent, you're going to need that. Otherwise, if you just blindly throw a line in the ocean like this, you're going to end up with some 16yo kid in India, who brags to his friends in the high school lunchroom about how he has a business partner in the US.
