Sorry but It wasn't that Tampa played so well although
you basically made no mistakes - the 1 interception.

The eagle just flat out played horrible. I can't believe
on the biiggest game in Phila history that they would
play that bad. Sorry but the Bucs didn't beat us--we
beat ourselves. Flat out embarrassed.

No shit. I couldn't believe some of the play calls being made there. What were they thinking?? It was almost like they were scared to run the ball against the Tampa defense, even though the first time they played, Eagles ran the ball very well on them and beat them on the ground.

Passing on almost every 1st down early on in the game is just plain dumb! Time of possession wins football games 9 out of 10 times!

Thanks for the congrats. The Eagles did have some dumb play calling - teams that throw a lot don't beat us - the Rams have learned that one and hopefully the Raiders will too. I'm just happy to be going to my first Super Bowl...

Now that I'm back from SD, I thought I would bring this thread back to the top..........I guess we had another game that we didn't win, but the other team lost. Wow, we had 3 of those in the playoffs...what were the chances of that?

Forget the doubters, jmc. Champions at last!

Many Raiders players saying similar things. They didn't play their best. If you can't get up to play in a conference championship game or a Super Bowl, you don't deserve to be champions.

That's part of the game. Be prepared. Play your best.

Bucs were the best team in football this year. Bucs D played just like this all year. Lead the league in pass D, overall D, points allowed, INTs and kept on doing it right through the playoffs. No one was even close in INTs. Best pass D numbers in two decades in the NFL. No change in the playoffs. No one was going to change that.
