Too be honest they probably gave themselves up without a fight as their objectives were to speak to the very same people who have captured them. the "rebels" that captured them are just trying to confirm their identity before releasing them as they say that israeli spy's sometimes travel on british passports.

Antiwar is usually a poor source though so cant say how true it is. It could also just be part of the propaganda...trying to make out that the rebels are independent when in fact they are being financed, trained and armed by Western countries.

According to Debkafile which is one of the few reliable sources of information, there does not seem to be much of a conflict going on at all though. More a make believe war. It is interesting to note how there are plenty of articles around the Western media about a major war, bombings, killings and so on, but no-one seems to be able to actually show much proof of any of this in the way of photos or videos of actual conflict. Most of the pics seems like something from a movie set in hollywood, not an actual battlefield.

I don't know anything about SAS, so I have no clue of how they are responsible
for internet porn being available.

The men namely SAS were arrested and taken to an army base, due to having military equiptment. Its said that they were on diplomatic protection missions, but probably took the arrest to save arousing suspicion considering the diplomatic situation & most probably are only a small amount of SAS already there ready to fight when & if need be.

"In a statement, the MoD said: "We neither confirm nor deny the story and we do not comment on the special forces.""

They were not exactly taken... arrested considering they were all tooled up. A little blown out of proportion.

I'm sure they were taken, because they didn't want to kill anyone. If kaddafi's guys tried to take SAS guys there would be lot of kaddafi's boys killed.
