Yup. It went through a filter but that doesn't mean he didn't use auto tune.

I don't think so. But I don't think his voice is filtered either. If you listen to the chorus, there is a female backup singer singing along with him. It sounds altered, but really I don't think it is.

It sure is. There's not a person in the world with a computerized voice like that.

It's super compressed and is using an auto-tune, although not as heavily as some that wind up with a computer sound. You can tell when the notes that are held out are extremely flattened out and any vibrato is overly even. It was probably produced by someone who actually knows how to use an auto-tune and not like many who just set the shit on automatic.

Setting the threshold correctly can tune the vocals without giving it a hard lock into what note the auto-tune is thinking it should be sounding.
