Ok, someone teach me to be a bartender here! Post your fave drink recipes...I need a break from my usual Cosmopolitan made with Chambord instead of cranberry juice!

Before I quit drinking it was Crown Royal and NOTHING, Jameson's Irish Whiskey and NOTHING, and Jim Beam with ice.

Bloody Caesar or a Brown Cow

tanqueray and tonic with lime
almond joy (frangelico, amaretto and cream - fatty but tasty)
cocksucker shots (baileys, butterscotch and vodka)

hmmm.....i dont drink anymore, but when i did i liked to mix
vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice.

i have been trying to develop a taste for whiskey, scotch, bourbon (and the ilk) and so far the single malt scotches are fun to get into and one boubon I won't try again is Wild Turkey.

the shot of death:
equal parts vodka, rum, sambucca, goldschlagger

Caribou Lou: malibu, bacardi151, pineapple (mix to taste-sugg. less bacardi)
Jager bomb: 1pt Jager 2pts RedBull
Famous Aimless: equal pts TequilaRose, Strawberry Stolies, add milk and a splash of grenadine
Raspberry tuaca lemondrop: Razzmatazz, tuaca, sprite , fresh squeezed lemon jiuce, and tbsp sugar..shake well

Sambuca is NASTY, although the rest sounds nice - I can agree that the above does sound like 'the shot of death'.


My fave cocktail is a nice tall Long Island Iced Tea.

Shots: Lemon Drop (Absolut Citron with a lemon wedge dipped in sugar for biting) and one I discovered recently called a Black Orchid (Rum, Blue Curacao, Grenadine, and Cranberry juice). Neither particularly lethal but both very tasty.

Sambucca is da shit !!

Vodka Tonic

I can't remember the name of it, but a friend gave me some Polish stuff, made from blackberries. The name of it escapes me...but two shots and I was drooling and gibbering. It was like a fucking Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. That shit laid me out, worse than an entire evening of tequila shots. I will never touch it again, even if I remember what it was...but I have fond memories. :glugglug

Not sure of the name (might be a B-52), but my favourite cocktail is this made like this:

1 measure of Tia Maria, 1 measure of Baileys and 1 measure of Cointreau. Pour each measure into a glass carefully, making sure not to mix them so you have three seperate and distinct layers - Tia Maria on the bottom, Baileys in the middle and Cointreau on top.

Then set fire to the Cointreau, and drink in one go through a straw, making sure you suck up the flame as well.

I'm not kidding about the flame.
