These rumors don't make sense. It would not help economic conditions if he was shot. I thought it might make panics worse.

the markets are very rumor driven.. and it does make sense.
end of Gadafi means an end in sight of the unrest.
if you didnt know, the oil prices has risen as of late due to the situation in Libya.
