Ok this is going to sound stupid
When I go to search at google, I can click on the search box and see everything I've ever searched for. I could care less on my work pc, but it seems I've gone and searched for some fairly adult things, mainly looking for my own listings, on my laptop. Now it also seems my oldest son is boroing my laptop to take to school this week... and deleting cookies and clearing the IE history doesn't get rid of them. Is there any way I can delete these search phrases?

Google Toolbar or Google itself?
Google toolbar, you click on the google icon, and do "clear history". Google itself, I am not sure offhand. It will also depend on your browser. ZoiNk |
Tools -> Internet Options... -> Content -> AutoComplete... -> Clear Forms. And then uncheck Forms.

Try going to Tools and Internet Options in your Internet Explorer. Fuck around with some options in there and that might do it.

When the list pops up, with all the items you have searched for in the past.... Highlight them one by one by just moving your mouse cursor over them and hit the " delete " button on your keyboard. It will delete the item :thumbsup:thumbsup

In IE:
Alt-t (Opens "Tools") Alt-o (Opens "Internet Options...") Ctrl-Tab, Ctrl-Tab, Ctrl-Tab (Moves over to "Content") Alt-u (Opens "Auto Complete...") Alt-f (Unchecks Forms) Alt-c (Clears your Form History) |
