usually the Goya brand is very good, as well as the mexican brand La Costena, it all depends where you live and if there are mexican food stores nearby, but safeway/albertsons carry these brands for sure

we have a store here, carrying basically all brands - and that's the problem.. before buying all, i just wanted to ask about your favourites..

I make my own. It's ground beef based and nothing compares.

Some of my faves-

Best all around hot sauce for me is Tiger Sauce. Brings the heat but is alot milder than siracha, not a ton of vinegar and slightly tangy sweet.

Mexican food, red sauce for me is Valentina, mild green sauce i use La Victoria, got green sauce (kick ass for making some queso) El Yucateco.

I also use "Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion" hot sauce. I don't reallk know the brand but it's really good, slightly BBQish but not heavy.

I mix my flavorful hot sauces with extreme hot Dave's Insanity sauce.

I have 3-4 favorites that I mix in a jar. To me it tastes better than any one by it's self.

Good old fashion Franks and also Tabasco.

be careful with the Green Habanero... great tase, just be cautious until you understand the stuff.. the other 2 are pretty safe but very flavorfull. stay away from the Red Habanero. all heat no real flavour

I don't use Hot Sauce at all, but my husband and son are very much fans of this, if they run out there is hell to pay in my house. They wanted something other than tobasco and I found this in a local store 10-12 years ago and they've used it since.

Love this stuff, not very hot but great flavor

Tabasco is my favorite, plus they have one with garlic added to it that is really good on red beans and rice, and in gumbos.
